Interesting facts about Johnsons Beach:
1. Johnson's beach is "framed" by the historic Guerneville bridge.

2. Johnson's beach during there business hours offers an on-duty lifeguard.

3. The beach is 14 miles west of the pacific ocean.

4. Johnson's Beach has been in existence since world war 1.

Interesting facts about Pebble Beach:
1.Pebble Beach is one of the six beaches that can be accessed at Sea Ranch.

2.Pebble Beach weather has been known to change by the hour or even minutes with their famous high gusts of wind.

3. Pebble Beach allows dogs provided they are leashed.

4.Pebble Beach is located just south of the mendocino/sonoma county line.

Johnson's Beach and Pebble Beach are similar in the following ways:

1. Both beaches are located in Sonoma County.

2. Both Beaches offer cool water and sandy beaches to sit or play.

3. Both Beaches offer Kayaks to rent

4.Both Beaches are minutes away from wine tasting, gourmet restaurants and beautiful hiking trails.

Johnson's Beach and Pebble Beach are different in the following ways:

1. Johnson's Beach prides itself on being the family friendly beach, while Pebble Beach prides itself on the appeal of a romantic getaway.

2. Johnson's beach is built off the Russian River, While Pebble beach is off the pacific ocean.

3.Johnson's beach is free to park at, while pebble beach charges a $5.00 parking fee.

4. Johnson's Beach is approximately 18.5 miles from the Santa Rosa Junior College, while Pebble Beach is approximately 62.8 miles from the campus.

Although both beaches offer a resort like area, i was wondering what the availability was for serious campers. Johnson's Beach and Pebble Beach both permit the use of bonfires on the beaches and neither one of them provide parking for RV's or trailers.
